Sterling Silver Flatware: Canterbury by Towle

leafy scroll shape at the tips
and the beaded-edges of the handles
are two of the details which make me love
One of the sterling patterns I love and collect is Canterbury by American silver maker Towle. If you collect silver too, I would love to hear which pattern and silver-maker causes your heart flutter!

When I Turn this particular piece over, the first maker's mark reads "925/1000", second a "sterling" stamp, then one of the Towle hallmarks (a lion in a T) with it's tail curled skyward; finally, the silver maker "C.E. Woodworth" left a stamp.
